Money and wealth is always going to be a difficult subject to talk about. We all have ideas about what we would like our financial life to be like. Perhaps we dream of untold riches or even just having enough to make ends meet.

Your finances are in your hands. You are the only earthly person who can have a profound effect on your finances. You decide how much you spend and/or save. You control how much you earn. If you want something different then do something different.

Are you satisfied with your finances?

Do you ever worry about how you will pay the bills?

Do you have debts that are not related to everyday living?

If you had to do you know how you would pay off your debts?

Do you think about how little your pay is?

If you are satisfied with your finances then you have reached a happy place. This is a priveledge that few really enjoy in life. However there are great dangers if you are in this position. You need to think about how you use your money. Do you make use of your money in a way that God would want you to? Do you support those good causes that you are able to support?

If you are not satisfied then what are you going to do about it? Things will not change by ignoring them. If you income is lower than you expenditure what is your plan to make this right? Will you cut costs or increase income? If you need to increase income and your current job just will not pay more what are you doing about getting a job that will pay what you want/need?

Make a plan to get things in to order and then start living it. It may be hard to face but it needs doing and now is a very good time to start.
