Maybe you are perfectly happy with your working life. Maybe you never feel your boss exploits you or that you are under paid. You may feel you have already reached the pinacle of your profession and you are perfectly happy just to continue as you are. If you feel like this then I am happy for you but there are still many things you can consider.

However most of us don't feel this way. Perhaps you feel stuck in a dead end job. Perhaps you do a job you hate. Perhaps you feel that you are too old and you just have to stick with what you know.

Well there will be things that can make your working life more enjoyable or fulfilling and no one is ever too old to make a change. Here are some questions to help you.

Have you ever worked out how much money you need to live on? If not do it now you may find that you can take a cut in wages to get the kind of job you would really like to do without destroying the rest of your life.

Have you ever worked out the kind of life you would like to live? That is do you have a hobby or ministry that you would like to fulfill full time?

What is important to you as far as quality of life goes? If you don't value material things why be in a highly paid job you don't like? If you value material things then why are you doing the job you do that doesn't provide enough to fulfill your desires?

If you did change your jobs how would this effect? If you have a family you will need to talk these things through with them first. Don't assume they will hate the idea you will probably find that they want you to be happy and will understand a change.

Do you have skills/talents that you never use?

If you cannot change jobs what can you do to make the one you do better?

How can you build a better relationship with your boss and work colleagues? Good relationships can certainly make your working life more enjoyable.
